2.1 XAT Registration Offers Facility to Apply for XLRI Admission 2025

The registration form for XAT 2025 also offers the facility to apply for XLRI PGDM admission 2025 through the application form with an additional payment of Rs.200/- for each PGDM programme of XLRI.

3. XAT Exam 2025 Registration: Step by Step Process

The registration & application process is online now. It is important to know how to fill the form and make payment of registration fee to become eligible for XAT 2025 exam.  While the Registration and application form completion involves 6 broad steps, the XAT application process is divided into 10 pages with eight steps.  The registration and application form is one document and there is no separate application form. Key Points to Note during Exam Registration & Application Process

• During registration, the mobile number and email address provided by the you will be verified through an OTP sent to that mobile number and email address
• Once the OTP is verified, the User ID and the Password will be sent on the registered email address and or on the registered mobile number to complete the registration process.
• You can complete the application form in a single session or in multiple sessions
• Save your current completed application pages and login later to complete the remaining Application Form
• Once the payment is made and the Application Form is submitted, you cannot make any changes
• You can only view and print the Application Form after submitting it

FAQs   Q: Is it possible to amend mistake in registration after form submission? A: After submitting the online application it is not possible to rectify the errors. You will have to re-register.

Step 1.2

Now, you have two options to fill your XAT application: Either login to XAT application page directly from the verification link on your mail; or login later with your XAT ID and password to fill your XAT application form

 

 

Step-2: Complete Personal Details & Address in XAT Registration Form 2025

This information is divided into three parts – your personal details, your parents’ details and your address. The first part of XAT 2025 Registration and application form requires you to fill all your personal details like complete name, date of birth, gender, email id, alternate email id, mobile number, alternate mobile number, age, nationality, blood group, parent details, address among others. So, keep all these things ready before filling in your personal details

Step-3: Fill in Academics from class 10 Onwards in XAT Registration Form

On this XAT registration page you are required to fill up academic details of you from class 10 onwards including professional qualifications

Step-4: Fill in Work Experience and Program Details

On this page you need to fill in following three items of information carefully:

• Your Work Experience beginning with latest work experience
• If you want to apply for XLRI Programme, fill in the choice of programmes, you wish to apply for.
• You can choose one or more programmes offered by XLRI. The additional application fee is Rs.200/- for each XLRI programme
• You can choose 2 preferred test cities to appear in XAT 2025 out of the 72 test cities. Please note that all the cities in Delhi NCR are clubbed into one choice as Delhi NCR

Step-5: Upload Documents

You need to upload your photo, signature, identity proof. The photo that you upload should be the latest one as it would be matched at the time of entrance exam

 

Step-6: Make Declaration

On this page you need to confirm that whatever you have stated in the application form is true and correct. So, it is better to preview the application form before clicking on it, making payment and submitting it

 

Step-7: Make Payment of XAT online Registration

Step 7.1 Check Payment Details

Before making XAT Registration fee payment, please check correct payment details. The XAT application fee payment is Rs.2100 if you have not applied for XLRI programme. The amount of fee will be more @ Rs.200 per XLRI programme, if you apply for XLRI admission also.

Important:

Please note that after clicking on ‘Submit’ button you will not be able to edit your application form details. So, preview your application and ensure all the details are correct.

 

Step 7.2 Pay Online through Acceptable Modes

• The payment can be made by using Debit Cards, Credit Cards
• Once you ‘Submit’ after making payment of your Form online, you will get confirmation for successful submission of XAT Registration and Application form
• Take Print of your Application Form Summary for future reference

4. XAT 2025 Registration: Getting Ready for the Process

To register and apply for XAT 2025, following should be kept ready:

• Update and validate your Computer/Laptop & Email A/c: To register for XAT 2025, your computer system should be equipped with Mozilla Firefox/Google Chrome/Internet explorer latest version. Also keep your e-mail account validated throughout the XAT 2025 application process and till the XLRI Admission process is not complete.
• Gather Important Documents: Before beginning to complete the exam registration and completing the XAT exam application form, the important aspect with XAT 2025 application form is to collect all your personal details, academic qualifications, scanned photo and signature image of required size which are required to complete the application form.
• Carefully Read instructions: Before moving on with the Application Process, you should read and follow the instructions how to complete the Application Form to avoid any waste of time and your Application form fee.
• Pay XLRI Application Fee through XAT Website: The Exam Registration process offers the opportunity to apply for admission to various XLRI Jamshedpur PGDM programmes. The registration Form has separate columns to apply for each PGDM programme of XLRI. You can avail this facility, if you wish to apply for admission to XLRI.  At a nominal additional application fee of Rs.200, you can submit your XLRI application online for admission alongwith XAT registration form.

Quickly complete the Registration Form: Once you begin the registration and application process by entering your personal details, it will take hardly 15 minutes to complete the registration and application form. You will receive a confirmation mail on successful submission of XAT registration form after you make payment of the XAT exam fee.

• Submit Application form early: It will be better to complete the Registration process early to avoid non-availability of preferred test centre. No change of test city requests will be entertained once candidates have made the payment of their Registration and Application form fees.

5. How to Upload Photograph & Signature in XAT Registration Form 2025?

Below are shared the details of process and specifications of photographs and signature you need to upload on the Registration and Application Form

5.1 Specifications for Photograph & Signature Images

Before applying online for XAT 2025 a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his / her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below:

• IN CASE THE FACE IN THE PHOTOGRAPH OR SIGNATURE IS UNCLEAR, THE APPLICATION MAY BE REJECTED.
• CANDIDATE MAY EDIT THE APPLICATION AND RE-UPLOAD THE PHOTOGRAPH/SIGNATURE IN SUCH CASE.

5.2 Photograph Image

• Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture.
• The picture should be in colour, against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.
• Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
• If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
• If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye".
• If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
• Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
• Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 20KB-50KB.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB. If the size of the file is more than 50KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.

5.3 Signature Image

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
• The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
• The Signature will be used to put on the ADMIT CARD and wherever necessary.
• The Applicant’s signature obtained on the ADMIT CARD and attendance sheet at the time of the examination should match the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch, the candidate may be disqualified.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
• Size of file should be between 10KB —20KB.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB.

5.4 How to Scan the Photograph & Signature for XAT?

• Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch).
• Set Color to True Color
• File Size as specified above.
• Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above).
• The image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is: image01.jpg or image01.jpeg Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon. Candidates using MS Windows/MS Office can easily obtain photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 50KB & 20KB respectively by using MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager. Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using 'Save As' option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50KB (photograph) & 20KB (signature) by using crop and then resize option

5.5 How to Upload Photograph & Signature in XAT Form 2025?

While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate will be provided with a link to upload his photograph and signature. The Procedure for Uploading the Photograph and Signature is as under:

• Check the size and format of photo & signature before upload
• If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed. 
• There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature
• Click on the respective link "Upload Photograph / Signature"
• Browse & Select the location where the Scanned Photo/ Signature file has been saved
• Select the file by clicking on it
• Click the 'Upload' button

6. Key Documents for CAT 2025 Registration

Register online on the XLRI-XAT 2025 website. Key required documents are:

 

Your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of Online Registration 2025.

 

Candidate must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration 2025 is complete. All above information is required for the Exam Registration.

• Exam Registration process and application fee payment process for the MBA programmes in XLRI is simplified further. Now the candidates can pay the XAT 2025 Exam Fee and Application Fee for XLRI PGDM 2025-27 Programme through online XAT Test website along with the Registration. You need Online Fee Payment Instruments before beginning of registration
• No changes shall be permitted after closing date in the XAT Application form details
• Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate in the Registration and application form.

7. XAT Registration & XLRI Application Fees 2025

The XAT fee is slightly increased by XLRI. The fees is increased to Rs.2100/-. The fee includes the XAT Application form fees and the XAT 2025 Exam Fee.

 

However, the XLRI PGDM programme application fee is not included in exam registration fee and the candidates have to apply for admission to XLRI programme by paying additional fee of Rs.200 per XLRI program while completing the exam registration form. The XAT Registration Fees and XLRI application fees for last year (XAT 2024) is given as below:

7.1 XAT Registration Fee Payment: Important Guidelines & Instructions

1. The XAT form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the payment instructions.
2. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
3. After submitting your payment information, PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID DOUBLE PAYMENT
4. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. Non-generation of 'E-Receipt' indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their Provisional XAT ID and Password and repeat the process of payment.
5. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful.
6. For Card charges are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to your local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
7. To ensure the security of your data, please close the browser window once your transaction is completed. There is facility to download/print application form containing fee details after payment of fees.

7.2 Important Notes on XAT Registration and XAT Application Fee

• Above mentioned is the Fee to apply for each XLRI PGDM programmes.
• XLRI has asked the candidates to wait for 1-2 days in case the payment is deducted from respective credit/debit card or the account, but is not reflected against your XAT registration in payment status page.

Please note that XAT Exam registration and XAT application form is a single document and is spread over eight key steps divided into ten pages. You can select 2 most preferred XAT exam cities where you wish to appear in XAT 2025. There is no time bound process to complete the exam registration and application form 2025. They can be completed in one go or in different stages. The XAT Exam registration 2025 and XAT exam application form 2025 can be submitted only after making payment of Registration fee. The XAT exam format has changed to computer based test from the earlier paper based test

8. XAT Registration Eligibility Criteria

XAT 2025 registration eligibility criteria is the pass in bachelor’s degree. No minimum percentage of marks in graduation are required. A candidate appearing in final year exam of graduation is also eligible. Read in detail XAT eligibility criteria

9. How to Avoid mistake in Registration Process? 10 Points

Please note the following to successfully complete your XAT registration 2025 form:

1. Carefully enter all the personal details in XAT 2025 registration form, no correction is allowed later 
2. Review all the details you have entered on each page
3. Please upload correct size of scanned images of your photograph & signature
4. Download the Certificates from the XAT website, enter the required information and self-attest, scan as PDF documents & upload the certificates on the XAT website
5. If you are a Person with Disability (PwD), Select yes in the Registration form, else you may not be provided assistance at the test centre like wheel chair support and Scribe
6. If you need to use a Scribe for the test, arrange the Scribe and fill the Scribe Affidavit form available on the XAT website.
7. After you submit the Registration form and make payment, no Editing is allowed, so be careful
8. XLRI may open 2-3 days Registration form Editing window after the last date is over. During the period you may re-upload your right size photograph, may edit a few details but no correction in Personal Details will be allowed
9. Check that your registration & application form is successfully submitted and you have received the SMS from XAT Exam Centre after form submission
10. In case you have made a mistake in the registration form, you must register again with a new email ID. Your XAT 2025 application will be considered for the latest registration and the Admit Card will be issued for the same. Please note that, you will not receive a refund for erroneous submission of application form nor will you get the Admit Card for your earlier registration.

Q. What are the XAT 2025 Registration dates?

Q. I am married and have changed my name after marriage. I am appearing in XAT for the first time which name I should enter in the XAT registration form – Changed Name or as per the degree certificate?
Ans. Please enter your changed name. Provide the supporting documents for change of name at the time of examination, interview and admission.

 

Q. I have not received the XAT Registration Password although the registration was successful and registration fee has been paid. What to do now?
Ans. Click on the Forgot User ID/Password option on the Existing User login page. You will be prompted to enter your registered Email ID and a Captcha string. You will get your new password on your registered email address but not by SMS. 

 

Q. If I apply for XAT after the last date of XAT registration, can I get successful registration message?
Ans. No, you should complete your XAT registration process before the closing time. Usually XLRI closes the registration process at midnight but in case of any technical glitches it may remain open for few hours more. However, the move is fraught with risk chances

 

Q. Can I apply for XAT 2025 in offline mode also?
Ans. No, you can submit only online application for XAT 2025

 

Q. Is it possible to amend mistake in XAT 2025 registration after form submission?
Ans. After submitting the XAT 2025 online application it is not possible to rectify the errors. You will have to re-register.

 

Q. I was awarded only grades but not percentage of marks in academics? How should I fill it in XAT registration form?
Ans. You should obtain a certificate from the Board/Institute/University specifying the equivalent marks which should be used for filling the online XAT 2025 application form 

 

Q. What is the minimum percentage of marks required in graduation for XAT registration?
Ans. You need only pass in graduation as there is no minimum percentage of marks required for XAT registration. 

 

Q. If there remains some mistake in XAT application form, how can I amend it?
Ans. After submitting the XAT online application it is not possible to rectify the errors. Either you have to re-register or wait for the 1-2 days limited time window to be opened by XLRI for error correction. The error correction window is expected to open after the close of XAT registration process.

 

Q. How to ensure that all the details that I entered in XAT registration 2025 and application form are correct?
